POS system for sports shops

For the walk-in athlete, the club member and the club itself.

A till for your sports shop that serves the walk-in customer, the club member and the club itself, each in their own way

With the Onlinefact POS system you manage sportswear and equipment by size and by season, give club members their own price and invoice a complete club order without doing the work twice.

In a sports shop a weekend runner stands next to a youth coach who has come to order twenty tracksuits. The first wants to pay quickly, the second wants a quote, delivery in parts and an invoice for the club. Onlinefact runs on a Windows touchscreen or computer in your shop, and you open your back office in the browser. You can test it free for 30 days.

Skis, snowboards and the change of season

Winter gear sells in a few months, then makes way for the summer collection. In the back office you manage seasons, so you group products per season and keep never-out-of-stock items separate. Skis, helmets and jackets get a variant per length or size, each with its own barcode and stock. At the end of the season you discount the leftovers by a percentage or with a new price.

What sports shops ask us most often

Can I mark down the old collection in one go?

Yes. Per product you set a discount as a percentage, a new price or a price reduction, and at the till you can still give an extra discount on one line or on the whole receipt.

What if the internet connection drops during the sales?

The till keeps selling, including cash and a payment terminal on your local network. Online payment methods and the online check of gift vouchers work again as soon as the connection is back, and all receipts are then sent through.

Can I link my webshop for sports goods?

Onlinefact has integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento, so online orders come into the same system as your in-store sales.

Which hardware do I need?

A Windows touchscreen or PC with a scanner, a receipt printer and a cash drawer. You can also rent these as a bundle for 85 euros a month.

Sportswear by brand, size and colour

A pair of training trousers comes in five sizes and three colours, and every combination is a variant with its own barcode. When you scan it, exactly that size and colour comes off your stock. You group your products by brand, and the 'Sell-through per brand' report shows which brands sell fastest. Socks or water bottles sell with a quantity discount, so whoever takes three automatically pays less.

  • Report per brand
  • Quantity discount on socks and bottles

Three kinds of customer, three ways of selling

A sports shop sells to individuals, to club members and to clubs and schools. Onlinefact supports all three.

Club orders, from quote to invoice

A youth club wants balls, cones and tracksuits for the new season. You send the coach a quote; if the club says yes, that quote becomes an order in one click. If not everything can be delivered straight away, you enter what was delivered in the order and invoice those quantities first; the rest stays open. The invoice goes to the club by email or via Peppol, and the bank link puts the payment with the right invoice.

  • The quote becomes an order in one click
  • Delivered quantities invoiced first
  • Club invoice via Peppol or email

Before the new club season starts

For you, a club season starts weeks earlier. These steps make it easier.

  • ✓ Create every club as a customer and fetch its details with the VAT number.
  • ✓ Give every club a price level or a fixed discount.
  • ✓ Send the coaches a quote for the club kit.
  • ✓ Set a minimum stock for the sizes that are asked for most.
  • ✓ Order from your supplier based on the 'To order' report.

Paying at the counter

A linked payment terminal sends the total to the card reader without retyping, and with Bancontact Pay your customer pays with a smartphone. Anyone bringing a gift voucher pays part with it and the rest by card. Terminals from CCV, Worldline, SumUp, Mollie and other brands are supported.
