Keep your customers coming back

Loyalty card, points, a discount on the next purchase and gift cards: all built into your Onlinefact POS.

A regular customer is worth gold. With Onlinefact you reward loyal customers without stamp cards. The customer has their loyalty card scanned, the till recognises them and points or discounts are calculated automatically. Gift cards are sold at the till and used later in one or several visits. Customer loyalty with Onlinefact

  • Loyalty card with barcode

Each customer has a barcode on their customer record, which you scan at the till.

  • Loyalty points

You choose what a point is worth. The points balance is on the receipt.

  • Or a discount next time

Prefer no points? Give a percentage discount on the next purchase.

  • Gift cards with a balance

A gift card can be used over several visits.

  • Standard discount per customer

A fixed discount, for example for staff or a club.

  • All in your reports

Reports for points, gift cards and gift card transactions.

The loyalty card: one scan and you know your customer

Every customer record has a barcode. Print it on a card, a key fob or a sticker. At the till you scan the card and the customer is on the receipt. Their points, discount or standard discount are applied automatically.

Real-life example: An visits the bookshop every week. She has her card scanned and, without asking, the assistant sees she has 320 points.

  • Barcode on the customer record
  • Scan with your usual barcode scanner
  • Customer automatically on the receipt

Loyalty points on every receipt

With the points system your customer earns points on every purchase. You decide how much spending earns one point and what a point is worth when the customer pays with it. Points earned and the balance are printed on the receipt, so your customer always knows where they stand.

Real-life example: A clothing store gives 1 point per euro. At 500 points the customer gets € 10 off. Every receipt shows how close she is to her next reward.

  • Point value you set yourself
  • Points and balance on the receipt
  • Points report in the back office

Or: a discount on the next purchase

Not every shop wants to work with points. As an alternative, give a percentage discount on the next purchase. You choose whether it applies to all customers or only to cardholders, and whether it is mentioned on the receipt.

Real-life example: A gift shop gives 10% off the next purchase. The receipt tells the customer they get a discount on their next visit. A good reason to come back soon.

  • Percentage discount on the next purchase
  • For everyone or cardholders only
  • Shown on the receipt

How it works

Set up your loyalty programme in four steps.

  1. Choose your system
Loyalty points, or a percentage discount on the next purchase.
  2. Set the value
How many points per purchase and what a point is worth, or which discount percentage.
  3. Hand out cards
Print the barcode from the customer record on a card or sticker.
  4. Scan on every purchase
The till calculates points or discount and prints the balance on the receipt.

Gift cards with a barcode

Sell gift cards at your till. Each card gets a barcode and a balance. Your customer doesn't have to spend it in one go: each purchase is deducted from the balance. You print gift card labels directly and can import or export existing cards.

Real-life example: In December a perfumery sells a hundred € 50 gift cards. In January and February those customers come back, often spending more than the card.

  • Barcode and balance per gift card
  • Partial use over several visits
  • Print gift card labels, import and export

Balance and transactions always visible

At the till, a gift card is simply a payment method. Scan it at checkout and the balance is used. Customer pays the rest by card or cash? Combine both. Every transaction is recorded, so you always see when a card was bought and used.

Real-life example: A customer pays € 32.40 with her gift card. Two weeks later she uses the rest. At the till the assistant sees straight away what is left.

  • Gift card as a payment method at the till
  • Combine with card or cash
  • Gift card and gift card transaction reports
